I’ve led companies, consulted teams, launched ideas — and I’ve also asked big questions about who I am beyond all that. My work now is to live fully, create freely, and guide others to do the same.
For years, I chased every milestone the entrepreneurial world promised would fulfill me—the first million, the rapid growth, the credibility, and the back-to-back wins that stacked up like trophies on an invisible shelf. And to the outside world, I was thriving. But in the quiet moments, after the meetings and after the inbox cleared, I was face-to-face with a kind of emptiness I couldn’t explain.
I had built something that looked good, sounded impressive, and paid well. My identity was tethered to what I could produce, how fast I could move, and how much I could prove. And in that pace, I lost track of presence. I was surrounded by people but felt profoundly alone. In the hustle of accomplishment I lost sight of my inner child’s purpose to create joy.
The transition to wholeness didn’t happen overnight. It was a slow, often uncomfortable unraveling. I began choosing depth over speed, silence over noise, and self-trust over external validation. I started asking new questions. Not “How can I win?” but “Who am I without the win?” That shift didn’t kill my ambition. It refined it.
Today, I still build, lead, and create. But now I do it from a place of alignment with who I truly am. The hustle served a chapter. Wholeness is writing the next one.
Original Poetry by Jon Bowerman
In quest for glory,
I put myself,
My chosen story,
Upon the shelf.
Success freed my mind,
From feeling bound,
But my heart I’d find,
From feeling found.
Making trophy space,
Admiring shine,
Staring in my face,
A story, mine.
I opened a page,
A chance to find,
How I might have aged,
Within the bind.
Each page as blank as,
Fresh snow fallen.
No single story,
Nor a calling.
Inside the cover,
Read like a voice,
To live your story,
Requires choice.
Creating has always been how I make sense of the world. My art explores micro-moments, emotion, and the potential beneath the surface. It’s where I let my inner child speak freely — unpolished, unfiltered, and fully alive.
As a longtime marketer, I’ve learned that the most powerful shifts start with a story you feel. When something hits emotionally, change happens. I write to capture those moments, helping others reconnect with what really drives them.
I’ve built platforms used by millions, founded companies across marketing, tech, medicine, and senior living, and taught myself to code long before I had a title. But before any of that, I was driving tractors and laying brick to pay for school. That mix of grit and curiosity has shaped everything I do.
You’re more than what you do — it’s how you show up that really matters. Every venture I’ve built starts from the same place: creativity, resilience, and a deep belief that resourcefulness always beats credentials.
